‘Release’

THE COLLECTION
On this intuitive journey, Alison purchased these round canvases at different times throughout the year. One month ago, a fierce need bubbled to the surface, it was time to begin.
Through Alison’s community on Instagram, she sold magnets and collected $250 in support of Ukraine which was donated to the Canadian Red Cross. While initially unaware of the reason for the round canvases until the collection was created in full, now it makes sense, the round symbolizes our world.
It has been a deeply emotional journey from hearing about recent world events that have been impacting so many people. This is Alison’s wish for world peace, so she is releasing it to the world.
ALISON VEINO
Alison Veino, a St. Thomas University graduate lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick with her husband and two children.
Alison is a graduate of the highly competitive CATAPULT artist accelerator program sponsored by ArtsLink New Brunswick, ACOA, and the Province of New Brunswick. Known for her colourful abstract fluid art, she has worked collaboratively with fashion designers, has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions, and has successfully completed collaborations and commissions for hotels and many local businesses.
